皆さま

本日は皆さまに大事なご報告があります。
予定より早くなりましたが、2026年に当面私の活動、生活拠点を再びアメリカへ移すことになりました。
理由は夫の転勤、また息子の大学進学及び娘の航空教育のタイミングが重なったためです。
私も年齢を重ねるにつれ、まだ身体が動くうちにもう一度アメリカへ移住したいと常に考えてきました。
子どもたちにも、アメリカでの暮らしを経験させてあげたいという強い望みもあり、子どもの将来の可能性を広げるために、このような決断に至りました。
20数年前、父親が体調を崩したことをきっかけに親の老後を考えて、兄弟がいない私は帰国することになりました。
当時シカゴでバレエスタジオを運営していた私は、当初アメリカに永住するつもりで、親をアメリカに呼び寄せる予定でしたが、結果私が帰国することになりました。
帰国してからは、仕事、子育てととても充実した日々を送らせていただき、子どもたちにもここでの生活を通して、貴重な経験をさせてあげられました。
沖縄では、皆さまに大変お世話になりました。
米国戻りの世間知らずの私に親切に接して下さり、お力添えいただきました。
また、才能に満ち溢れた生徒さんたちに指導ができた事も私にとってかけがえのない財産になりました。
私がここまでやって来れたのは、皆さまのお陰だと心より感謝の気持ちでいっぱいです。
沖縄で素晴らしい方々と出会えたことは、永遠に私たちの心の中に刻まれ続きます。
今年2025年2月をもちまして、こちらでの教室の運営は終了させていただきましたが、移住後もソーシャルメディアを通し、アメリカの情報発信や、皆さまとの情報交換、また希望者がおりましたら、Zoomオンラインクラスやリモートコーチング、YouTube 動画配信クラスを予定しています。
これまでのように、皆さまと交流ができればと思います。補助的な役割として少しでも皆さまのお役に立てれば幸いです。
また海外と沖縄で繋がる事を楽しみにしております。
この先私がまたこちらに戻って来る際は、是非よろしくお願いいたします！
22年の間皆さまには、多大なるご協力、ご支援また、ご理解をいただき誠にありがとうございました。

Dear: Everyone,

I have an important announcement to make today. I will be relocating back to the states in 2026 to live and continue my ballet activities. The reasons are my husband will be transferring his job to the states and my son is enrolling in college. My daughter will also continue her aviation training, this is happening sooner than originally expected. I had always considered spending time in the states one more time before I get too old while my body is still able to do things, and really hoping that my son and daughter to expand their possibilities in the future and have the experience of living in the states. Over 20 years ago l decided to return to Okinawa to take care of my parents for their senior lives, my father had begun to get sick, especially since l don’t have any brothers and sisters, but at the time l was running the ballet studio in Chicago and was intending to stay in the states permanently and was planing on bringing my parents to the states. I ended up returning here, l think back and it was an appropriate choice at the time and fulfilled working and raising the children here and gave children a valuable experience living here. I am so grateful to meet all the amazing people while I was here. It was an honor to teach such talented students. I want to deeply thank everyone from the bottom of my heart who has been involved with my studio for the past 22 years and their support and understanding, this would not be possible without everyone. When l started my studio here l never expected that foreign students would contact me for enrollment. I wasn’t prepared for them so l remember rushing to create homepage and other information in English. That is how l began to teach foreign students. When l lived in the United States people around me were so gentle to me and helped me a lot so l really wanted to repay as much as l can to the American people. I am done teaching and closing the school at the end of February 2025. I am more than happy to share and exchange information with everyone by social media. After I get settled I may offer Zoom online classes, remote coaching and YouTube video distribution classes for people who wish to participate. You never know l might be back ! I wish everyone health and happiness!!
